Sweet Holiday Lawn Fawn Card

Sweet Holiday Lawn Fawn Card

Instructions:

Hello crafty friends! Have you started your holiday cards yet? Today I'm sharing this holiday card I made featuring some Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

Step 1: I used a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad to ink up the claw machine from the Lawn Fawn You're Claw-some clear stamp set. I took my Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy and wet it with some water, and wiped away the ink on the bears inside the claw machine, and then stamped the claw machine onto a piece of white cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool.

Step 2: Next, I stamped on the claw to the claw machine from the Lawn Fawn You're Claw-some clear stamp set, and colored the claw machine with various copic markers.

Step 3: I cut out my colored claw machine using the coordinating Lawn Fawn Cuts You're Claw-some die set.

Step 4: I stamped a bunch of cookies and milk cartons from the Lawn Fawn Milk and Cookies stamp set using my Misti Stamping Tool and a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using my Tim Holtz Kushgrip Non-Stick Micro Serrated Scissors.

Step 5: Using a Lawn Fawn glue tube, I glued on the milk and cookies to the inside of my claw machine.

Step 6: Next, I masked off about 3/4" from the bottom of a piece of white cardstock (4" x 5 1/4") using some tape and scrap paper, and then blended Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink onto the white cardstock using a Picket Fence Life Changing Blender brush.

Step 7: I removed the scrap paper and tape from the bottom of the cardstock, then taped my scrap paper back onto the top red ink blended portion of the cardstock, and blended ink onto the white portion of the cardstock I had masked off using a Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink Pad and another Picket Fence Life Changing Blender brush.

Step 8: After I finished ink blending my background, I splattered water and white paint onto the blended background and set it aside to dry.

Step 9: Then I stamped the cookie jar, glass of milk, straw, and half eaten cookie from the Lawn Fawn Milk and Cookies stamp set, colored the images with copic markers, and cut them with my Tim Holtz Kushgrip Non-Stick Micro Serrated Scissors.

Step 10: I stamped the baking mice from the Lawn Fawn A Creature Was Stirring Clear Stamp set, and mice from the Lawn Fawn Crazy Antics stamp set using my Misti Stamping tool, colored them with various copic markers, and cut out my colored mice.

Step 11: After my ink blended background was dry, I glued my colored claw machine onto the center of my ink blended background using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 12: Then I used the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to glue my colored mice, cookie jar, half eaten cookie, milk and straw to the bottom of my card.

Step 13: I stamped the words "Have a," "sweet," "Christmas" and "Holiday" from the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments clear stamp set onto white cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool and a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad, cut the words out, and glued them on the sides of my blended card base using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 14: Next, I stamped some Christmas holly from the Lawn Fawn A Creature Was Stirring stamp set using my Misti Stamping Tool and a Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento ink pad, cut them out, and glued them next to my sentiment strips and on the top of my claw machine using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 15: I added candy canes I stamped from the Lawn Fawn A Creature Was Stirring clear stamp set which I cut out after coloring them with copic markers. I glued some candy canes inside my claw machine and one in the hands of once of the mice using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.

Step 16: To finish up my card, I added white highlights to my colored images with a white gel pen.

I love stretching my stamps and finding new and interesting ways to use them differently. I hope you enjoyed learning how to make this sweet holiday card. You can find the Lawn Fawn stamps and dies and other supplies I used over at the scrapbookpal.com shop.
