Step 1: To make this card, I first stamped the jellyfish and mermaid from the Lawn Fawn So Jelly and Mermaid for You stamp sets onto a piece of 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" white cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool and Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento Ink Pad, and colored them with copic markers.
Step 3: I used my 3.5" Lawn Fawn round acrylic block to stamp fish from the Lawn Fawn Mermaid For You and You are Sublime stamp sets, and bubbles from the Lawn Fawn So Jelly stamp set next to my mermaid using my Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad, and colored them with copic markers. Then I drew in an ocean floor with brown colored copics.
Step 5: I masked three of my ocean waves and stamped sailboats and duck from the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing and Rub-A-Dub-Dub stamp sets behind my masked waves. Then I removed the masks and colored the sailboats and duck with copics.
Step 6: Then I colored the background of the bottom half of my card with blue colored copics to look like ocean water and added blue dots throughout the ocean with a Blue Sakura Gelly roll pen.
Step 7: Next, I stamped the tiny bunny from the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing stamp set on a separate piece of white card stock, colored and cut out the bunny and adhered it to my larger sailboat with foam tape for dimension. Then I added white highlights to my colored ocean images using a white Sakura gelly roll pen.
Step 8: I moved on to the sky portion of my card by stamping some sea birds from the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing stamp using my Tuxedo Black Tsukineko Memento Ink Pad to make it look like seabirds flying off in the distance in the sky above the ocean.
Step 10: I stamped the airplane and banner from the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple stamp set above my flying birds and colored them with copics. Then I stamped the peek-a-boo bear from the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing stamp set on a separate piece of white card stock, colored and cut it out, and adhered it onto my airplane with foam tape.
Step 12: Then I used light blue colored copics to color in the rest of the sky in my card.
Step 13: Next, I used my Misti to make sure the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Smooth Sailing stamp set was stamped to fit inside the banner pulled by the airplane. Then I added white highlights to the colored images in the sky portion of my card using a white Sakura gelly roll pen.
Step 14: To finish up my card, I added a stitched border to my card panel and glued the card panel onto my card base using my Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.
