Hello there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards sharing a soft and romantic card perfect for weddings, engagements, or anniversaries, featuring the beautiful A Special Toast Dies and A Special Toast Sentiments Press Plates & Dies from Spellbinders. I drew inspiration from my Pinterest wedding board to create this pastel, elegant design that feels both timeless and joyful.

Starting with the background, I have an ivory A2 card base and used the Pinkfresh Studio Rounded & Braided Rectangle Dies to create my background panel. I popped this up with foam tape for subtle dimension—it adds a soft shadow that gives the design a polished, finished look.
For the focal point, I die-cut the coupe glass from cardstock three times, layering each cut for extra depth and sturdiness. This technique makes the delicate shape feel dimensional without being bulky. I added the pale peachy-blush backing behind the lattice detail to look like champagne, and then placed the die-cut ring in between the layers for that extra celebratory sparkle.

To decorate the glass, I die-cut an assortment of flowers and leaves from the same A Special Toast die set. I chose shades of coral, peach, blue, and green—colors that felt romantic but still fresh. I layered the blooms with foam adhesive to create a natural, cascading look along the side of the glass stem.
The sentiment, “A Ring, A Promise, A Lifetime,” comes from the coordinating A Special Toast Sentiments Press Plates. I used the BetterPress Letterpress System with black BetterPress ink to achieve that crisp, elegant impression. The texture of the letterpress adds a beautiful tactile quality that complements the soft details of the card. I tucked the sentiment just beneath the florals and finished the design with a few adhesive pearls for a hint of classic charm.

I love how this card came together—it’s delicate, dimensional, and feels like a true keepsake for celebrating life’s most special promises.
