I started by stamping the
Gracious Peonies large floral stamp using
Versamark Ink and then heat embossing it using gold embossing powder. This is a very generously sized image, and the details are stunning!
I stenciled the heat embossed image as well as two smooth white cardstock panels, all measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", using Altenew inks from the Warm and Cozy collection and a blending brush. The leaves were stenciled using Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and a blending sponge. I found these stencils very easy to line up and I love how much space they take up on a card front!
Next, I cut one panel out using the
Gracious Peonies Die, I fussy cut the gold embossed panel by hand and I left the third panel whole.
For the first card, I mounted some designer paper from my stash onto an A2 sized card panel and glued the gold embossed peonies onto the card front. I stamped one of the many sentiments from
Gracious Peonies Clear Stamps and heat embossed that in gold as well.
I finished the card off, by adding a few scattered gold sequins. The shine on this card is so pretty!
For the second card, I glued the die cut peonies onto a panel of aqua colored cardstock. I stamped a different sentiment from the set in black, onto a piece of white cardstock and hand-doodled some lines around the edges to frame the sentiment. A smattering of black sequins finished this card off nicely.
For the third and final card, I simply cut the panel down using a stitched die and mounted it onto a piece of black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from
Gracious Peonies using
Versamark Ink, onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.
Here's the list of supplies I used:
I hope you've enjoyed today's cards! I certainly enjoyed making them!
Thanks so much for stopping by! ~
