A Witch's Garden by Amanda

I've always imagined 'A Witches Garden' is filled with the most wonderful things! I'm Amanda and this is my first blog post! Keep reading if you want to learn how I made this card!

Step 1: Stamp images from assorted Lawn Fawn sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the images with alcohol markers.

Step 2: Die cut the images using the coordinating Lawn Cuts.

Step 3: Measure card base and a separate piece of cardstock of the same size. The cardstock will help add dimension to the background. The measurements I used are 4" x 9-1/4", so it fits snuggly inside of a 4-1/8" x 9-1/2" envelope.

Step: 4: Using the separate cardstock piece, die cut Lawn Fawn's'A Little Picket Fence Border'a little ways down the paper leaving enough room for a sky. In the 'Stitched Hillside Borders', find the hillside that follows the flow of the fence. Die cut underneath the fence making it separate from the hillside and adding stitching detail in the hill.

Step 5: Make a cloud stencil using Lawn Fawn's 'Puffy Cloud Borders'. Set it aside.

Step 6: Start inking the background!I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink color Vintage Photo to ink the fence. Ink the hillside using Distress Oxide Twisted CItron. Add some shading at the bottom with DIstress Ink Peeled Paint.

Step 7: Go back to the cloud stencil and the card base previously made. Ink the sky using 'Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass' blocking out spaces with the stencil. Start inking where the fence will go. Move the clouds up to repeat until the top is reached.

Step 8: Time for assembly! Apply tape runner to the back of inked hillside. Line up and adhere hillside to the card base. Apply tape runner to the back of the fence. Line up and attach above the top of the hill. Use adhesive eraser to clean up any tape residue. (LIFE SAVER!)

Step 9: Glue the colored images to the background using tacky glue. The furthest away items will be pasted down first.

Step 10: Add finishing details with Black Sakura Micron Pen, and White Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pen. For extra shine, add Sakura Glitter Pen accents as well. Then I stamped a few spiders around the garden for some last minute details.
