Hello my crafty friends. I don’t know about you, but I am huge dog lover, recently I lost my doxie – Maggie of 14 years and when Avery Elle release – All my kisses clear stamp set I had to have it and I couldn’t wait for the mail to arrive. So please meet Maggie.
Step 1: The size of the base for my slim card is 7-inch x 9- inch and I usually use cardstock from my stash and score it in the middle and for this card I used regular Kraft cardstock paper.
Step 2: Stamped out my images from Avery Elle – All my Kisses and Sending Flowers on watercolor paper cardstock with Lawn Fawn – Black Licorice ink pad and colored them with various watercolor brush pens by Arteza.
Step 3: When finished coloring I cut all the imagines with coordinating die cuts on my Sizzix Big Shot machine and for the XOXO die cut from Avery Elle I used deep red cardstock and I cut it 4 times.
Step 4: For the scalloped slim card border – paper cardstock is from my stash got it for too long, but for the scalloped border I used mama elephant slim card die cut set.
Step 5: Last step was to create the scene with my sweet doxie Maggie, and her love note, and I must say I love this card so much I think I may keep it for myself. I layered the XOXO for nice dimension and glued all images with Art glitter adhesives with ultra-fine tip and 3M foam tape and created special envelope with We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to go along with very special card.
