Avery Elle Camping Critters Card

Hi there! It’s Cassie Trask back to share a trifold card with you using some of the latest Avery Elle release to create a fun camping scene.

Step 1: Cut your 8 ½ x 11” piece of white cardstock in half so that you’ll have 2 pieces that each measure 5 ½ x 8 ½”. Score those each at 4 ¼” so that you’ll have 2 card bases. Now trim just a hair off of one side of each of those card bases. Set those aside.

Step 2: Ink blend onto a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Woodgrain cardstock using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink with a mini ink blending tool. Ink blend the edges with some Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. Splatter that with a bit of water and dry that with a heat gun.

Step 3: Attach your woodgrain panel to the longer side of one of your card bases with some liquid glue, and let that dry.

Step 4: Stamp and color your images from the Camping Critters stamp set. Use the matching die to cut them all out.

Step 5: Using a circle die, cut a window in to your woodgrain panel attached to one of your card bases.

Step 6: On the smaller side of your second card base, mask off a portion at the top to ink blend a night sky using Distress Ink colors in Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.

Step 7: Now mask the sky you just ink blended, and ink blend some grass using Distress Ink colors in Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles.

Step 8: Splatter some Liquid Stardust all over your scene panel. Let that dry. Once it’s dry attach it to your other card base, so that you have a tri fold card base.

Step 9: Attach your colored images to your scene using liquid adhesive. Don’t forget to decorate the inside as well.

Step 10: Stamp and emboss your sentiments onto some black cardstock. Attach those to your card.
