Avery Elle - Gingerbread Kisses

Avery Elle - Gingerbread Kisses

Posted by Mary Jo Johnston on

Building a gingerbread house for the holidays is such a sweet tradition!  Who doesn't love decorating with the lollipops, gum drops and candy cane pieces?  It's definitely my favorite part!
You can now bring this beloved tradition to your favorite crafting project. With Avery Elle's new Gingerbread Kisses Stamps and Dies, you can turn those holiday houses into adorable cards and tags.
Let's get started!
Begin by stamping your images onto white cardstock. Color using Copic markers.
Die cut your images, as show, using the Gingerbread Kisses Elle-ments Dies.
For this card, build a winter scene background for the base of your card.  You can create a stitched hillside, a mountain view or even a snowy backdrop for your new, little gingerbread house.
Adhere your die cuts to the front of your card to complete the scene.
Embellish with the sweet candy treats; gum drops, peppermint lollipops and candy canes.  Don't forget the adorable string of lights for the roof of your house!  It's the perfect finishing touch.
Stamp your sentiment and adhere to the top of your card.  Embellish with additional candy canes or lollipops.

Happy crafting! Mary Jo
