Avery Elle Ice Cream Celebrations

Avery Elle Ice Cream Celebrations

Posted by Deepa Robbins on

Hello crafters and welcome to the ScrapbookPal Blog!
My name is Deepa from @deezinesbyd and today I have a fun shaker card to share with you that’s perfect for those hot summer days and summer birthdays!

This card features the Ice Cream Celebrations stamps and dies by Avery Elle. The dies work with the stamp set such that you can create a solid ice cream cone cutout, or you can cut out the center of the scoops to make a shaker card! I used the Spellbinders Sweet Treats sprinkles to fill the scoops and put this cone on a rainbow Oxide Ink-blended background. To see how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.

The best part about the stamp set is that you can mix and match the sentiments in many ways! You can create a card with a numeral for milestone birthdays or you can make an encouragement card with the “way to go” sentiments.

I chose to have the “birthday” and “to you” portions of the sentiment run along the two edges of the cone. I find that this creates a bit of interest and adds to the fun/creativity of the card.

The complete cone with the pink shadow is just a tad larger than an A2-sized card, so this one is 5” x 7” (or A7-sized). To finish off this card, I added some Pinkfresh Studio Matte Gold Pearls and Diamond Stickles for shine.
I hope you like this card and please do check out the tutorial for more tips and tricks!
Have a Great Day & Happy Crafting!
