Step 1: Cut out 4-5 hearts from desired cardstock colors. I like to many different colors that go together so I can make lots of cards.
Note: I like to keep as many pieces in the heart until I’m ready to use them to make it easier to insert the pieces back into the heart.
Step 2: With all of the pieces punched out of your heart, cover the back with Scrappy tape. Trim excess off with scissors.
When you turn it over it will have sticky adhesive all ready to insert your pieces back in.
Step 3: With a jewel picker or picker up tool add the desired colored pieces into the open spaces.
Step 4: Cut out a stitched rectangle slightly smaller than your A2 size card in a coordinating color and an A2 sized background to back it with. Stamp your sentiment from the sentiment strip included in the die set with black ink or emboss if desired with VersaMark and white embossing powder.
Step 5: Peel off backing and stick on your stitched rectangle.
Step 6: Adhere to back layer and to card base. Use foam squares to adhere the sentiment.
There you go! A pretty Mother’s Day card!
