Bug Deal Magic Iris Card by Traci

Posted by Traci Selig on

To create a leaf background, I stamped neenah paper (half full sheet 5 ½ x 8.5) using the leaf stamps from both Hey Lady and A Bug Deal in a random pattern using Gina K Amalgam ink. I colored with copic sketch markers G94, G99, YG17, YG03. From this paper, I then die cut the Magic Iris Scalloped Add On (round piece with scallops) as well as three (3) “sausage” pieces from the Magic Iris die set.

I assembled the Magic Iris (remaining pieces cut from Neenah Solar White) using the sausage pieces from leaf paper above. I used purple Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckled paper to die cut the Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Add On and attached it to the magic iris. I added the Magic Iris Scalloped Add On cut from paper created with leaf stamps from above.

I colored and cut bugs, leaves and branches for card (from LF2221 A Bug Deal) and attached with LF glue and double-sided foam tape. Embellished with Studio Katia bubbles. Copics Used: V01, V04, V06, R29, R27, R24, B06, BG02, BG000, BG11, YG17, YG03, E27, N2, N4

Stamp sentiment on inside of 5 ½ by 4 ½ card base and attached more bugs!

Super quick!
