Step 1: I stamped images from the Lawn Fawn Let’s BBQ stamp set, Lawn Fawn Make Lemonade stamp set, Lawn Fawn Happy Summer set, stamping some several times over.
Step 2: I then used my Copic Sketch markers to color all the images.
For the hamburger buns I used E30, and E53.
For the yellows (like lemonade, mustard and cheese), Y00, Y13 and Y15.
The watermelons were colored with R22, R17 and E93 for the reds and YG13 and YG17 for the greens.
The grill was colored using YR61, YR14 and YR68.
The hamburgers were colored with E43 and E44 and the hot dogs and steaks were colored with E07 and E15.
I also used a Signo Uni-Ball Impact Gel Pen (White) to accent some of the pieces.
Step 3: After coloring all the images, I used the Lawn Fawn coordinating die sets to cut all of the images.
Step 4: I cut a long white rectangle using my paper trimmer for the background and lightly added some colored inks with a Tim Holtz mini ink blending tool for the sky and grass. I also die cut a few simple clouds.
Step 5: I used several strips of a wood grain paper to create the picnic table and stamped it with the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment. I adhered the images with Ranger Multi-Medium Matte Adhesive.
Step 6: Finally, I used my Scor-Tape to adhere the entire front to my card base.
Hopefully my Dad likes it, he’s the master of the grill in our family!
