Feelin' Fizzy - Catherine Pooler Designs

Let's have a soda pop party!

I am so excited to share this project with you using the new Catherine Pooler Feelin' Fizzy! Stamps and Dies!  The nostalgic design of the sentiments and classic soda pop bottles are so much fun and perfect for party décor, birthday cards or Father's Day.

I've created some cute and easy décor in festive colors, paired with a classic black and white retro theme that I hope you love!  Let's get started!

Begin by stamping your Feelin' Fizzy images.  I'm using the soda pop bottles, bottle caps, straw and sentiments.  The soda pop bottles use a layering technique for the liquid in the bottle and the outline of the bottle shape.

I found it easier to line up my images by first stamping the solid color (the liquid in the bottle) and then layering the outline over the top.  You'll notice the image is still a little off center which gives it a nice white line and the look of the reflection.  Die cut your images.

How cute are all of those bubbles?  I love the details in this set!

For the card, cut a piece of white cardstock to 8.5" x 6", fold in half.  Cover the front of your card with black and white checkered paper.  Adhere a piece of white cardstock, down the center, 2.25" x 6".  Stamp the bubble images at the top of the card.  Adhere your soda pop bottles and straws to the middle of the card using foam squares for added dimension.  Stamp and die cut your sentiment, adhere to the bottom of the card.

Dress up a paper gift bag with a few of the images from the set.  Stamp and die cut your images, adhere to the front of a small bag and fill with paper shred.

A handmade gift tag is an easy way to dress up a basket, gift box or party bag.  Stamp and die cut the soda pop bottle image, two straws and your sentiment.  Adhere to the front of your tag.  Tie the tag to a gift basket or wrapped box.

These bottle wraps are my favorite part of the party!

Stamp and die cut 5 straws in various colors.  Stamp and die cut the bottle cap image.  Adhere together as shown.  Cut a thin piece of cardstock long enough to wrap around your soda bottle, adhere together.  Attach the decorative piece to the wrap.

I hope you're Feelin' Fizzy and create your very own soda pop party!

Happy crafting! Mary Jo
