Festive Pillow Boxes by Jenn

Posted by ScrapbookPal Inc on

Hello, crafty friends! Today I have some fun and festive pillow boxes! I made two with different themes but you can decorate them for any occasion. I can see them used for easy Christmas gift giving as well! So let's get started!
First, I cut out the pillow boxes from kraft cardstock. Before adding any adhesive or pre-folding the score lines, be sure to decorate the boxes. For the autumn themed box, I used Lawn Fawn's Jump for Joy and various Lawn Fawn inks to stamp images all over the boxes (chili pepper, walnut, cilantro, carrot). I also drew tiny dots with an embossing ink pen and heat embossed gold powder. For the halloween themed box, I used Lawn Fawn's Trick or Treat set with mustard seed Distress Oxide, picket fence Distress ink, and carrot Lawn Fawn ink.

Once images have been stamped, pre-fold the score lines, add strong double sided tape to the tab, and assemble the box. For assembly instructions, you can watch this video: https://youtu.be/_Q6Ql8AFnoI
Next, I created the little tags using Lawn Fawn's Tiny Fall Tags and colored cardstock. I stamped the sentiments from Lawn Fawn's Wavy Sayings and Pick of the Patch. I used Simple Wavy Banners and Everyday Sentiment Banners to cut out the sentiments and then punched a hole at the end. For the halloween sentiment, I heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Finally, I filled the boxes with goodies and tied the tags on. The boxes are perfectly sized to hold a gift card or small treat!
These boxes made quick, easy, and cute little boxes and I had a lot of fun making them. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! Happy crafting!
