Happy Monday crafty friends! I hope that you are having a great start to the week! If not, make sure to sneak in some crafty time! Farhana from Everyday Engineered here today to share a fun floral card (my fav!) with you! Sometimes you just don’t have the time or energy for detailed coloring, that’s when the newest coordinating ink blending stencils come in handy! I avoided them for a while, now I am hooked!

To create this card :

I started by stamping all three of the images from Honey Bee Stamps’ Floral Vase stamp set with VersaMark watermark ink and Lawn Fawn gold embossing powder to emboss.

I inked up the “vase” using Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink.

Next I ink blended the leaves using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks.

Then I inked up the flowers using distress oxide ink in Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet.

The last layer of ink blending was the center of the flowers that I added using  Scattered Straw distress oxide ink.

Next I die cut out the inked images along with the card and pick for the sentiment using the coordinating dies. I embossed a sentiment on to the card.

To finish off the card I added a little texture to the card front using dry embossing and the Crystal Kaleidoscope Background stencil and assembled the images using a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Till the next time, take care!

Farhana
