Freshly Picked Birthday Card

Freshly Picked Birthday Card

Posted by Kavya N on

Hi folks,

Kavya here from @handmadebykavya with another fun project using Spellbinders' new Fresh Picked Collection. I love how versatile this collection and I cannot wait to show you how to make this fun card!

I started off by die cutting flowers and leaves using Spellbinders' Fresh Picked Buttercups die set. I ink blended the leaves using Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon distress ink. For the flowers, I used Dusty Concord, Picked Raspberries, Dried Marigold and Saltwater Taffy distress oxide inks.

For the background, I used Teal cardstock and ink blended an edge using blue and black dye inks. I embossed it using Fresh Picked Columns Embossing Folder.

Adhered all the elements on the background, added a few pearl embellishments and a sentiment from Yana's Layered Script Sentiments to finish off my card.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed this fun project!

Happy Crafting,

Kavya
