I love combining multiple stamp sets. At Christmas time, I tend to do this a lot more when creating cards. For my project today, I’m using an old favorite and much used stamp from Avery Elle called Beautiful Bow and combining it with some little cuties from Lawn Fawn called Furry Friends.
I started off by arranging my stamps on a 4 1/4x 5 ½ white card panel that I will eventually trim down. I just want to get an idea of my placement and make sure everything will fit together the way I want.
Next, I stamp the bow using Lobster ink from Lawn Fawn.
I add the little cat just above the bow using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and add some simple Copic coloring.
I stamp the puppy on another piece of cardstock, color that with Copics and trim him out. I will pop him up with foam tape on the bow overlapping him with the cat.
After stamping a sentiment from Avery Elle’s Retro Ornaments, I trim down the entire white panel to fit onto a Spruce notecard from Lawn Fawn. I adhere it to the card using foam tape and add the puppy. I love the bright green of the card and it’s just the right size to pop in a gift card for someone special.
