Happy Birthday with Catherine Pooler's Strings & Things

Happy Birthday with Catherine Pooler's Strings & Things

Posted by Andrea Shell on

Hi there! It's Andrea back with you sharing a birthday card featuring Catherine Pooler's Strings & Things stamp set. If you or a friend are a sewer, this set is a must-have!

I stamped those fun images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics (colors listed below). Before diecutting the images, I stamped the thread and floss images onto their respective spools with Catherine Pooler inks (It's a Girl, Chiffon, Serenade, and In the Park).

I blended the bottom half of an A2 white panel with Chiffon ink and adhered the panel to a cardbase with ScorTape. I arranged my images onto my card and tacked them in place with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares in two thicknesses.

For my sentiment I used Honey Bee Stamps' Happy Happy Happy set. I first stamped "happy" with It's a Girl ink and then added "birthday" with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I finished the card with some clear sequins from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!
