Hero Arts Apple Frame

Hero Arts Apple Frame

Posted by Kathy Schweinfurth on

Welcome Fall!  It’s time to visit the apple orchard which is one of my favorite fall activities.  The taste of apples picked right off the branch is beyond amazing!

For my card,

1) First, I cut a piece of light blue cardstock and adhered it to the card base.

2) I then used Hero Arts Apple Frame die to cut the frame itself, single apples and flowers out of white cardstock.

3) Using blending brushes and Distress Inks (see colors below), I ink blended the branches and leaves on the cut frame and adhered the colored frame to the card base.

4)  Then, I ink blended the individual die cut leaves and apples and adhered/popped them onto the frame as shown.

5)  For the white die cut flowers, I simply popped them up around the frame.   The center pieces are die cut from black cardstock and adhered to the middle of the flowers.

6)  Lastly, I stamped one of the sayings from Hero Arts You’re Golden Stamp & Cut set into the center of the card.  I really liked this saying.  Reminds me to leave seeds of kindness with others during my day and maybe goodness will be multiplied!
