Hero Arts | What's Brewing? Collection | Card Making Tutorial

Posted by Cassie Trask on

Hello everyone and welcome back to the ScrapbookPal Blog!  It's Cassie Trask back with another video tutorial to share with you.  As soon as I saw the What's Brewing? Collection from Hero Arts, I was so inspired.  Because the Delft Flower Stencil is so gorgeous, I ended up making a set of two cards.

Each card uses not only the Delft Flower Stencil, but it also uses both the Coffee and Croissant Dies and the Bring Coffee Stamps.

To stencil the background I used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Inks. I blended those using Mini Ink Blending Tools.  That stencil has me wanting to try all kinds of colors, because it's just so beautiful!

Each of the images were die cut using various cardstock colors, but this would be a fun die set to die cut out using only white cardstock.  Then you could color each of the pieces with Copic Markers.

If you would like to see how this card came together you can watch it here or over on the ScrapbookPal YouTube channel.

I hope this video makes you want to get a little inky.  So grab a cup of coffee or tea and start creating! Everything used will be linked down below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cassie
