I am a huge fan of combining products from different companies and releases to stretch my supplies! This fun Bee themed card was created using stamps and dies from three of my favorite brands - Honey Bee stamps, MFT stamps and Avery Elle stamps. Here is a quick tutorial on how to recreate this card for someone special!
First, start off by creating a background for the card. I ink blended an A2 sized cardstock with Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Dried Marigold distress oxide inks and ink blended a strip of green cardstock with Pine Needles distress oxide inks. As always, splatter some white paint!
I then stamped and colored a bunch of images from MFT Honey Bees and Avery Elle Sending Flowers stamp sets.
Later, I cut the honey jar from Honey Bee Stamps Honey Jar Paper Piecing die set using colored cardstock. I added more details to make it realistic using Copics.
I then added some details using a white gel pen to make the image pop!
Finally, adhere all the images on the card base using glue and foam tape to finish off the card!
