Honey Bee Lucky Lures Stamps & Dies

Honey Bee Lucky Lures Stamps & Dies

Posted by Lieschen Harshbarger on

Hello crafty friends, Lieschen here with a fun card using supplies by Honey Bee Stamps. These supplies are perfect for those who love fishing or to make fun masculine cards.
I started by making an A2 card base and trimming two extra pieces to use for the front panel of my card.
Once I was done trimming, I used one of the images from the Lucky Lures stamp set to stamp the image onto white card stock. Then I heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Next, I used Copic markers to color the image. I used: E31, E42, E43,Y32, Y21, Y15, Y17, Y11, Y13, YG45, G14, R59, B000, B00, and B02.
I used the colored front panel and aligned one of the dies from the Lucky Lures dies to die cut a rectangle where you would be able to see the stamped image I colored. Then, I used the Woodgrain embossing folder and ran it through my die cut machine. After that, I used Gathered Twigs distress ink to ink around the front panel and where I used the die to die cut a window to see the stamped image.
Now, I glued the embossed front panel and the front panel with the stamped image together onto the card base. I stamped, heat embossed, and die cut one of the sentiments from the Lucky Lures stamp set and glued it to the stamped front pane piece. Then I added some glitter drops to add a bit of shine to the card.
Now this card is ready to be mailed to a loved one who loves outdoors and fishing time. I hope you have enjoyed today's card and that it has given you some inspiration to do something fun and creative today. Until next time!
