Honey Bee Stamps Believe in the Magic

Honey Bee Stamps Believe in the Magic

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards. Today I’m sharing a beautiful snow globe-shaped Christmas card featuring the Honey Bee Stamps Believe in the Magic stamps and dies.

When I saw this gorgeous snow globe, I knew I wanted to heat emboss it, but I didn’t want the entire globe to be gold. So I decided to only heat emboss the bottom half and then stamp the top half of the image in black ink. This gave me the gilded look I wanted and allowed me to do some Copic coloring.

Another feature that makes this card unique is that it is shaped like a snow globe! I chose to forgo the classic card base and instead die-cut a second globe shape to serve as the back of the card.

To see these techniques in action and see the entire card making process, be sure to check out the video over on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube channel!

Happy crafting and happy holidays!
Colleen
