Hello everyone!! Sarah (@mother0froyalty on IG) here to share my new favorite layering die set along with the gorgeous stamps too! I really am loving the Lovely layering dies from Honey Bee stamps! They make cards so easy and fun to make!
Starting this card I pulled out the Lovely Layers Playing Cards die set, along with the Perfect Match clear stamps. I knew I wanted to have a queen and king on the card for some friends of mine and this was the perfect set for this! I wanted this card to be pretty simple but I wanted contrast too, so I went with a black background with some texture. I used the Textured Hexagons 3D embossing folder from Altenew and splatter it with Distress Spray in Fossilized Amber and moved on the making my mini playing cards.
I went through my papers and found black mirror cardstock for my letters and a metallic red as well. I thought these would be perfect, they would be a little different then the rest of the regular cardstock. I cut everything out and started to assemble them.
Once I had my cards assembled I pulled out the stamps and grabbed the perfect sentiment and stamped it out. I fussy cut the sentiment out and started to play with there I wanted everything to sit on the card. Once I knew that I was ready to stick everything down!
I glued the cards together and then added some 3D foam to the back of them, a little liquid glue on those just to make sure they stuck to the textured background and stuck them down. I popped one part of my sentiment down and glued the other flat to the card front and that finished this card for me and I Iwas super happy with the way it turned out!!
