Lawn Fawn A Waffle Lot

Lawn Fawn A Waffle Lot

Posted by Kathy Schweinfurth on

Hey, sweet crafty friends!  Kathy here to send a bit of love and hugs with these cards featuring some of the newest Lawn Fawn goodies!
For my first card, here are the steps I took to create this cute scene...
1)  I layered red cardstock onto the card base.
2)  Taking pink cardstock, I cut a piece with Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop and adhered it on top of the red cardstock.
3)  Using two Honey Bee Stamps Barn Wood Planks dies, I cut dark brown cardstock and adhered them to the bottom of the card to look like a table or counter top.
4)  The darling images are from a few different Lawn Fawn stamp and coordinating die sets:  A Waffle Lot (waffles, fruit, butter); Let's Toast (toaster); Sew Very Mice (I replaced the embroidery hoops the mice images hold and put in the waffle images)
5)  The 'face' on the toaster was created with dies in the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Happy Heart.
6)  To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the A Waffle Lot set on red cardstock and adhered it to the top part of the card.
Here's how I created this second Valentine's Day card...
1)  I adhered a raspberry colored cardstock to the card base.
2)  Taking a piece of Lawn Fawn pattern paper, I used the double stitched heart die in the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Happy Heart then adhered it onto the card.
3)  To create the super cute hugging heart, I again used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Happy Heart dies and popped it up over the diecut heart opening on the card base.
4)  The conversation hearts were made with Lawn Fawn Candy Hearts dies.
