Oh Gnome Card by Joy

Oh Gnome Card by Joy

This card has a magical feel with the Gnome taking care of those cute little Peas and a Monochromatic color scheme.

Step 1. I die cut all of the images (Lawn Fawn birch tree, stitched garden border, mushroom house, mushroom border, grassy hillside borders and MFT Grass Hills die) using cardstock from Simon Says Stamp in (green leaf, green apple, mint and peacock).

Step 2. Then I stamped my images from Lawn Fawn's Oh Gnome Stamp set and Be Hap-pea Stamp set. I used Copic Markers (YG17,25 G14, C8,6,4 W1, E00,11,13,30 BG09,18,11,13) to color the images and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Step 3. I took an A2 size piece of white cardstock (Neenah Classic Crest Solar White), Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Cracked pistachio and did some ink blending using the Mini Ink Blending tool to the top of the cardstock to give it a nice soft sky.

Step 4. I sprayed the background with Imagines Shimmer Spritz Spray for a glittery background.

Step 5. I adhered the green grass to the mushroom border and then adhered the mushroom caps with Multi Medium Matte glue.

Step 6. I used Lawn Fawn's Knock on Wood paper for the the door and window on the Mushroom House, I then assembled the rest of the house.

Step 7. I glued the grass and mushroom border to the inked background. Glued the Stitched Garden Border in Kraft Cardstock to the bottom right of the card and added a small strip of grass to the bottom of the card.

Step 8. I used foam tape behind the Birch Tree and branch. I glued the leaves to the branch. I tucked in the pea pod to the Stitched Garden Border.

Step 9. I stamped the cute little faces onto the Pea's with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and glued all the colored images ( gnome, peas and wheelbarrow) to make a cute scene.

Step 10. To finish this card I used a Black Glaze Pen for the eyes on the characters and a White Gel Pen for highlights on the images. I used Nuvo Glitter Drops to the holes on the mushrooms and Glossy Accents to the window.
