Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to the ScrapbookPal blog and to my very first post as part of this Design Team! I’m Sweta, and I go by Table_in_the_Attic on social media.
Today I’m sharing a project featuring the Freesia Flourish Press Plates and coordinating dies from PinkFresh Studio. Let’s dive in! 🌸
I started by using the press plate with my Glimmer Machine and some fuchsia foil.

Next, I colored the foiled image with Copic markers — YG11, YG63, YG67, G24, Y11, YR31, RV000, V01, V12, and V05. Once that was done, I die-cut both the floral image and the sentiment using the coordinating dies. I also cut additional layers from thicker craft card stock to make them sturdier and add height without too much bulk.

Using the second and third largest Blanket Stitched Octagon Dies, I cut out a frame from purple glitter paper, and added a trellis die-cut behind it for extra texture and interest.

To assemble everything, I used an A2 card base and adhered the octagon frame with Bearly Art Glue. Over this, I layered the Freesia flowers and sentiment, finishing off with a few embellishments.

I love the versatility of Press Plates — you can use them both ways: to foil or to create impressions.
✨ Bonus tip: Try dry embossing your envelope with the same plate to match your card!

That’s all for today. Have a wonderful and crafty week ahead! 💖
