Pinkfresh Studio Playful Petals

Pinkfresh Studio Playful Petals

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards. Today I’m sharing a simple and elegant card I created using the Pinkfresh Studio Playful Petals press plate and stamp set.

This card came together quickly with just three steps involved. I started with ink blending to create a smoky, ombré effect. I used Pinkfresh Studio inks in colors Storm and Stargazer.

I then used the Playful Petals Press Plate to hot foil the floral image onto the card front. I finished the card with the best wishes sentiment from the Playful Petals Stamp set.

Although it sounds simple, I did run into a bit of over-foiling along the way. Watch the full card making process over on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube Channel to see how I fixed the issue, resulting in this beautiful card.

Happy crafting!
