Hey crafty friends!
Welcome back! I’m so excited to share today’s card featuring some absolutely adorable products from Pretty Pink Posh. If you love shaker cards as much as I do, you’re going to have so much fun recreating this bright and cheerful summer design!
The star of today’s project is the Summer Drink Shaker Die Set. This die creates the cutest tropical drink, and it’s perfect for turning into an interactive shaker card. To fill my shaker, I used the Beach Party Shaker Beads, which are packed with vibrant colors that perfectly complement the citrus slices and summer theme.
To add even more personality to the card, I used the Happy Summer Stamp Set with the coordinating dies. After stamping a few different greetings, I chose a simple sentiment and placed it vertically along the side of the drink for a fun, modern look.
For the background, I reached for the Spellbinders Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die Set. Instead of using a plain rectangle, the postage edge adds just the right amount of detail while keeping the focus on the colorful shaker element. I softly ink blended Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass in the center to create a light sky-blue backdrop that makes the drink really stand out.
The drink itself was ink blended with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, while the fruit slices were colored using Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Spiced Marmalade. These bright colors coordinate beautifully with the colored cardstock rinds and give the card a fresh, summery feel.
