Hi crafty friends!
I'm back on the Scrapbook Pal blog today sharing a sweet and simple card featuring the Steeped in Comfort Stamp, Stencil, and Die Set from Pinkfresh Studio!

I love creating clean and simple cards, and sometimes all you need are a few colorful images, a little dimension, and plenty of white space to bring everything together.
For today's card, I wanted something bright and cheerful, so I went with a fun combination of yellow, pink, and green.
Creating the Images
I started by stamping the adorable lemons, honey jar, and honey dipper from the Steeped in Comfort set.

Next, I used the coordinating stencils to add color to each image. I kept the lemons a bright yellow with soft peach slices and green leaves. For the honey jar, I chose a golden yellow and added a pink lid for a little pop of color.
I love how the pink adds an unexpected touch to an otherwise traditional lemon-and-honey color palette!
Once everything was colored, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

Putting the Card Together
For my background, I wanted to keep things really simple and let the colorful images do all the work.
I started with a white stitched rectangle panel and layered it onto a soft pink cardstock base. The pink border adds just enough color while tying in with the honey jar lid.
I arranged the lemons toward the bottom of the panel, overlapping the honey jar slightly to create a little cluster. I tucked the honey dipper along the right side to finish the arrangement.

I love adding dimension to my cards, so I used foam adhesive to give the images a little lift.
Finishing Touches
For the sentiment, I stamped "Sending Sunshine" in black ink just above the arrangement. The mix of fonts is so pretty, and I thought it was the perfect sentiment for this cheerful card.
To finish things off, I added a few small pink enamel dots around the images.

And that's it!
Sometimes it's tempting to add more to a card, but I really love how this one turned out with its simple background and bright pops of color.
I hope this card brings a little sunshine to your day and inspires you to pull out your favorite stamps and stencils!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy crafting!
