Sizzix Layered Flower Card by Lena

Sizzix Layered Flower Card by Lena

Step 1: Using the Sizzix Layered Water Flower dies and cardstocks of various colors, create the lotus and leaves.

Step 2: Assemble the lotus flowers and leaves.

Step 3: Using the gold alcohol ink, blending solution, and the yupo paper, create a "mud effect". Use the snow drift die to cut the edge of the panel.

Step 4: Assemble the card together using Scrappy tape.

Step 5: Print out this quote from the computer using white cardstock and a printer. (For this particular effect I used the "insert textbook" feature of Microsoft Word software and chose colors for the textbook to be black and the words to be white.)

Step 6: Adhere the quote to the card, and the card is done! :)
