Spellbinders 2024 Handmade Holidays Card Kit

Spellbinders 2024 Handmade Holidays Card Kit

It's Kay here today to show you a handful of cards that I made with the Spellbinders - Handmade Holidays Collection - Handmade Holidays Limited Edition Holiday Cardmaking Kit 2024.  Just like the name of this kit there are tons of goodies included in this kit to make a ton of holiday cards.

To see all that's included in this kit click here.

With card bases and envelopes in both 4x6 and 5x7 you can create cards in many sizes. Here are a few of the 4x6 cards I created with this kit.

I recently purchased Spellbinders Bayfair Collection Dies - Nested Postage and found these to be a great help in creating my cards from this kit. So grab some basic layering dies and get started creating!

Seasons Greetings Card: red & white (tore edge for snow) cardstock, patterned paper, tree and house printed diecut shapes, Seasons Greetings and We wish you a Merry Christmas banner.

Ho Ho Ho Santa Collage Card: dark green cardstock, patterned paper cut with postage die, diecut shapes and gems.

All is Calm Star Card: red and metallic gold cardstock, patterned paper, chipboard frame and sentiment. Gold stars.

This kit comes with a roll of double sided adhesive tape and some foam squares. I also used my favorite thin foam squares from 3L to get two different levels of dimension. My bottle of Bearly Art Glue came in handy as well.

I absolutely love the double sided gold and silver metallic cardstock that comes in this kit. You get 2 of each color and it adds such a festive look to your cards. The shiny look of this cardstock makes it a bit harder to photograph because it likes to reflect the person taking the photos. To avoid that I had to take a little different angle of this Merry & Bright 5x7 card.

I used dark green and silver cardstock for my base layers and then used the largest postage die cut from the burgundy cardstock provided in the kit. I combined the chipboard Merry & Bright sentiment with some cardstock stickers to create my postage collage. I also used some puffy stickers and gems to complete my card.

There are tons of beautiful floral and holly shaped die cuts included in this kit.  For this Warm Wishes card I used black cardstock, patterned paper and two of the same floral shaped die cuts popped up with foam tape in the corners. You get two of each die cut  shape included in the kit.

The Warm Wishes sentiment is from the page of puffy stickers and then I added a little banner sentiment at the bottom with some thin foam squares.

There are truly endless ideas packed into this Spellbinders Holiday cardmaking kit. This would make a great family activity or a fun night out with the girls, so grab your kit and start creating!

Stay tuned for some additional cards that I made with this kit coming soon.
