What I love most about this card is how effortlessly these Spellbinders sets transform a standard city storefront into a delightfully creepy Halloween setting. For this card, I paired a bold, ink-blended night sky background with a charming purple building packed with festive, spooky accents for a look bursting with color and personality.

One of my absolute favorite details on this card is a fun little technique: turning the curved window dies into tombstones at the base of the building! Instead of using them solely as architectural elements, I ink-blended them, popped them up along the sidewalk, and added hand-drawn "R.I.P." lettering. It’s an easy trick that adds instant wow-factor and turns the front of the card into a full-on haunted scene!
To kick things off, I blended vibrant distress inks to create a glowing night sky loaded with purple, pink, and deep midnight tones. I added a bright yellow full moon up in the top corner with a pair of dark bats silhouetted across it, then mounted the panel directly onto a standard A7 side-folding card base.
The building itself is where all the magic happens! I die-cut the storefront structure from light purple cardstock, framing out glowing yellow windowpanes, creepy green cat eyes peering out from the shadows, and deep purple patterned awnings. Then came the best part—decking it out with floating white ghosts, a sneaking skeleton, carved jack-o'-lanterns, and webbed die-cuts tucked around the corners for maximum dimension against that vivid background.
For the sentiment, I nestled a clean white strip right in the center of the building structure that reads "HAVE A fa-boo-lous HALLOWEEN", providing the perfect festive anchor amidst all the haunted action!
To bring it all together, I added shimmering silver glitter curtains inside the lower windows and entry. These little touches catch the light so nicely and tie all the metallic textures together for a polished, eye-catching finish. 💎✨
