Spellbinders Poppy Song & Essentially Yours Collections

Spellbinders Poppy Song & Essentially Yours Collections

Posted by Melanie Smith on

Hello Friends,

Welcome back to the Scrapbook Pal blog. I am Melanie with @melaniesmithstamps and in today card we are playing with Spellbinders Poppy Song Collection along with a sentiment from the Essentially Yours Collections Let's take a look...

I choose the "Get Well Soon" sentiment because these bright blooms from the Petal Burst Stencil Set would cheer anyone up. This stencil set consists of 6 layering stencils and can be created in any color combination of your hearts desire. I choose Distress Oxide Inks in reds to mimic actual traditional poppies, but any floral colors would look beautiful.

For the sentiment and background layer I choose to use a black glitter card to give this card a little extra flair. If you look closely though, you can also see that the center panel has been cut from the stenciled area using the Playful Stitched Panels die set, and popped up with 3D foam tape. This brings a little surprise to the recipient due to the glitter paper peeking out behind the panel when tilted to the side.

Want to create this card along with me? I have a full video tutorial over on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube channel. Check it out here -

One last look...

I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me today and come back to Craft Life Together with me again really soon! 🥰
