Warm Winter Wishes
Step One:
Stamp all images from the Lawn Fawn sets Baaah Humbug, Meow You Doin, and Toboggan Together. Color images with Copic markers. Use the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables Dies to cut a frame for the scene. Use the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border Dies to cut a hill for the scene. Cut images out with coordinating dies. Set aside to work on the sky background in next step.
Step Two:
Cut a panel of paper slightly smaller than the largest die. {so the edges don't show behind the frame} Use Distress Oxide inks in Broken China and Faded Jeans. Blend using blending tools until you're happy with the look. We'll add "snow" later, so don't worry if it's not perfect.
Step Three:
Add the hill we cut earlier to the back of the frame with adhesive. Then stamp the greeting from the Baaah Humbug stamp set using Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink. {or whatever black ink you have on hand}
Step Four:
Add foam adhesive to the back of the panel. I love the THIN Permanent Adhesive Foam Square by Scrapbook Adhesives. The low profile allows for added dimension without so much bulk. This makes mailing easier.
Step Five:
Attach frame panel to the inked background we created. Then, adhere all the stamped images. Attach some flush with the card, and some with the foam squares. Then use the Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen to add doodles and snow. This pen is my absolute favorite. It adds to much detail to a finished card.
Ahhh. It is now time to sit and admire your finished masterpiece. Have a fabulous and crafty day!
