“You’re Nailing It” Clean & Simple Card ft. Lawn Fawn

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hello there! This is Colleen Beamish from @humorbean_cards and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring the adorable tool dies from Lawn Fawn’s Build-A-Toolbox set! Paired with a sentiment from the Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Tools stamp set, this card came together quickly but still feels playful and polished. I’ll probably be giving this one to my brother-in-law for his first Father’s Day!

The design is all about letting the die cuts shine. I die cut each of the tools from simple solid cardstock colors and arranged them in a neat row across the center of the card. The bright ruler and handles add fun pops of color while the silver metallic cardstock gives the wrench, hammer, and pliers a realistic look.

To keep things balanced and modern, I stamped the sentiment directly underneath the tools in black ink. The clean white background really helps all of the little details stand out and keeps the focus on the die cuts.

I love cards like this because they’re easy to customize for so many occasions — Father’s Day, encouragement cards, congratulations, or even for someone starting a new project or job. The “You’re Nailing It” sentiment makes it especially versatile!

To see the entire card come together, be sure to watch the process video over on the Scrapbook Pal Youtube Channel!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this card inspires you to pull out your die cuts and create something simple and fun. Happy Crafting!
