Copic

I've been using the prismacolor markers and I am so glad I purchased the copic markers & sets, I very happy that I am able to refill the markers vs purchasing new set. Very pleased with the shipping & prompt delivery.

Great way to start your Copic collection!

Being a newbie to Copic markers is SO overwhelming...but SO worth the effort! Just learning what the letters and numbers mean, how to use them, how to blend, and how in the world do you decide what colors to begin collecting?! This set made things so much easier for me. I love all things nautical/beach/seashore/summer, etc. so I knew I would want to start with blue markers, and by buying a three pack in that color family, all the guesswork was taken out of it for me. I've since bought the yellow and green three packs of markers. What I have found easiest for me is to pull up a Copic color chart (Google search) and decide which colors I would use most. Then I pick three from the same color family with numbers that are a few digits apart or pick my favorites but try to pick a light, medium, and dark. If using them mainly for stamp sets, take inventory of your stamps and figure out what you would use the most, then just expand from there. Youtube has some great tutorials for beginners. But remember, if you ask people what colors to begin with, you will get a lot of different opinions, so I would recommend you pick YOUR favorites and build from there. My collection is slowly growing thanks to Scrapbookpal having incredible prices for Copics, plus free shipping over $25...win/win!
