A Mole Lot of Love ft. Lawn Fawn

A Mole Lot of Love ft. Lawn Fawn

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hello there! This is Colleen Beamish from @humorbean_cards, and today I’m sharing a sweet and pun-filled card featuring the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love line of products. This playful card design uses the coordinating stamp, coloring stencils, dies, and the add-on stamp set to create a clean and cheerful card that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day—or anytime you want to let someone know you really dig them.

I started by die-cutting all of the shapes in the die set then stamped the images all at once using my Mini MISTI. I colored them using the coordinating coloring stencils and Pinkfresh Studio inks.

Using the coloring stencils makes this step incredibly relaxing—no overthinking required—and the results are perfect every time.

To keep the background soft and simple, I added color directly to the top portion of a white card base. I masked off the bottom section and blended Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink across the top, creating a gentle wash of color that adds interest without overwhelming the design.

With the background complete, I arranged the mole images across the transition line between the inked and white areas. I popped each image up using foam tape for added dimension.

To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment—“Popping up to say I really dig you!”—from the A Mole Lot of Love add-on stamp set directly onto the card front. The simple black sentiment ties everything together and keeps the focus on those adorable little moles.

This card came together quickly and would be easy to mass-produce by changing up ink colors or sentiments. It’s proof that a clean design, a little dimension, and a good pun can go a long way!

Happy Crafting!
