Altenew Stunning Sakura

Altenew Stunning Sakura

Posted by Lieschen Harshbarger on

Hello crafty friends! I hope your week is going well and that you get to do some fun crafting today. In today's entertaining card tutorial I'm using the new Stunning Sakura stamps, dies, and stencils from Altenew.

I started by stamping the beautiful floral image using my Misti and some black ink. Then I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder.

Next I used the Wicker Texture 3D embossing folder from Altenew. I trimmed my front panel piece 3 1/4 x 5 3/4. I only did partial embossing to leave room for a sentiment.

Since I already had the front panel piece done, I created a mini slimline card measuring 7x6 scoring on th 7 inch side at 3 1/2. After I created the card base, I went back to the stamped image to color the beautiful flowers using the Stunning Sakura stencils.

Next, I used the coordinating dies and die cut the image 3 times to add some dimension.

Once I was done with the die cutting, it was time to glue these beautiful flowers onto the embossed background.

To finish the card, I glued the front panel piece to the card base and added some Pinkfresh Studio pearls to add a bit of shine to the card.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card tutorial and that it has given you some fun inspiration to do something creative today!
