Altenew Zero Waste 3D Floral Cover Die and XOXO and more word dies

Posted by Misty Lavigne on

Hi everyone! Misty here from @thejollyatelf I had so much fun using the new Zero-waste 3D Floral Cover die and the XOXO and More word dies from Altenew! This cover die is genius! For today, I'm sharing how I used the die cuts and the leftover backgrounds to create a set of cards!

One of the most used adhesives in my card making when using die cuts are adhesive sheets. Adhesive sheets turn any die cut into a sticker and they make working with the pieces from this die a breeze!

You can see from the photo that the cover die does use up most of a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sheet of card stock. Using the adhesive sheet, allows the two pieces of card stock to go together quickly and easily. I also used the adhesive sheets with the black script dies from the word dies. Again, you're creating stickers. Additional adhesive is not required.

For the main project, I decided to make a colorful wreath using most of the die cuts. You could easily use a different color palette, but I love this faux neon look with the black and bright colors.

I used the Everlasting Circle dies from Spellbinders to create a circle card and the frame for my wreath. These florals came together quickly without there need for additional glue!
