BetterPress Silhouette w/ Pastel Background Featuring The Field Notes Collection By Spellbinders

Hello My Friends,

DT Melanie here from @melaniesmithstamps and I have a really easy project for you today that you might like to recreate yourself. I have a full length video over on YouTube which I will link down below so you can craft along with me, but first let's take a look at the design together.

I started out with a 5x7 sized piece of watercolor paper and using my favorite XL Ink Brushes from Spellbinders I inked the panel in Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, and Speckled egg Distress Oxide Inks. As you can see, these inks gave us a slight blend of orange and green also for a super soft rainbow blend.

After then blend was complete I show you how to use your Spellbinders BetterPress System to get this really nice dark black silhouette with the Spellbinders Blooms Wildly Press Plate. I just love the way it being offset with the added sentiment turned out.

Lastly, I share with you how I extended the A2 sized Filed Notes Twine so that we could use it here on the larger A7 sized card. I love it when you can stretch the supplies you have and use them in different ways, don't you?

Thank you for Crafting Life Together with me today. I hope to see you in the craft room again really soon! Melanie Smith
