Hello crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing a floral card featuring the beautiful Bloom & Buds stamp, stencil, and die set from Pinkfresh Studio. One of my favorite things about this set is that it includes one large floral image that is designed to be the star of the show. Sometimes it's nice to let a gorgeous floral do all the heavy lifting!

I started by placing the floral stamp in my MISTI and stamping it onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Using the MISTI always gives me the confidence that I can get a crisp, clean impression, especially when working with larger images.
Once the image was stamped, it was time for my favorite part—adding color! As a pink-loving crafter, I immediately reached for my Pinkfresh Studio inks and pulled together a collection of soft pinks, buttery yellows, light oranges, and fresh greens. The coordinating stencils are incredibly easy to use and line up beautifully with the stamped image. To make alignment even easier, I used my Altenew Grip Mat to hold everything securely in place while I worked through each stencil layer.

The layering process was quick and enjoyable, and before long the floral image was filled with soft pastel color and beautiful dimension. I love how the gentle color palette gives the card a fresh, cheerful feel while still allowing the details of the stamped image to shine. Pinkfresh Studio always does an amazing job designing stencils that make coloring effortless while still delivering stunning results.
With my floral complete, I turned my attention to the background. I wanted something that would complement the blooms without competing with them. While looking through my stash, I rediscovered the Hero Arts Background Builder Clear Stamp Set. The faux watercolor paint stroke images were exactly what I was looking for! I stamped several of the brushstroke images using the same soft pastel color palette as the floral, creating a subtle artistic background that tied the entire design together.

To give my focal image extra dimension, I die cut the floral four times and stacked the layers together. This simple technique creates a chipboard-like effect that really helps the floral stand out from the card front. The added depth gives the finished card a polished, professional look while still keeping the design relatively simple.
For the finishing touch, I stamped a sentiment directly onto the card base and adhered my dimensional floral over the pastel watercolor-inspired background. The combination of the soft florals, artistic brushstrokes, and layered die cuts creates a card that feels both elegant and cheerful.

I absolutely loved creating this card with the Bloom & Buds collection. The coordinating stamp, stencil, and die make it easy to achieve beautiful results, and the large floral image is perfect for creating eye-catching cards for a variety of occasions.
