Hi crafters!
Raquel here from @Paintsandglitter. I am bringing you a beautiful trio of cards made with the Altenew Fun Little Envelopes die collection paired with the Scripted Sentiments die set. Today, I am also using the Ways to Thank You 3D embossing folder from Altenew, the Zero Waste Fun Little Flowers dies, and Interference inks from Lisa Horton Crafts in Lavender Fields and Cherry Bomb Shimmer.
Recipe:
300GSM white panels at 4 1/8” x 5 1/8”
Top folding card bases at 4.25” x 5.5”.
3 envelopes cut out of burgundy cardstock; 3 envelopes cut out of lavender cardstock, burnish all folds with a paper creaser.
6 envelope liners cut out of vellum.
Flowers and leaves inked with Cherry Bomb Shimmer and Lavender Fields respectively
To begin, dry emboss one of the white matting layers, and using an ink dauber, add color to the center of the remaining two panels along with the edges. Cut two white panels separately using the Little Flowers die. Color each with the interference ink using a small brush applicator. Both are also splattered with water to create a lovely effect. Adorn each envelope using the dies included, as well as the inked flowers to taste. You can also splatter the backgrounds, paint them using leftover ink from the daubers, and add more detail using a white Nuvo gel pen.
Adhere all matting layers to the bases and finish each card with a sentiment of choice, whether by coloring the paper with matching ink, layering them between pieces of vellum to create a shadow, or topping them with a Glitter gloss pen for subtle shine.
I hope you’ve liked this tutorial, and that you subscribe to ScrapbookPal for more fun ideas. My video will also give you tips on how to assemble each card. Thank you for your time,
Be inspired, Be Blessed!
