Catherine Pooler Old Saint Nick

Catherine Pooler Old Saint Nick

Hello crafters and welcome to the ScrapbookPal Blog!

It's Deepa @deezinesbyd here and I'm so excited to share this cute Christmas card with you today!

This 5" x 7" card features the stamp and coordinating die from Catherine Pooler Designs called Old Saint Nick. It includes images of a wide array of materials that relate to Santa Claus with a few bold sentiments. I chose to keep this card relatively simple with a heat embossed background, focusing on the colored images in the center, with a striking red sentiment banner. For a more in-depth look at how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.

I tried to use all of the stamps from the set and did a bit of white heat embossing on a light blue card panel sized 4-3/4" x 6-3/4". I then stamped out a few key images and colored them in with some Copic Markers. I stuck to reds and greens which are very indicative of Christmas. I used the Old Saint Nick coordinating dies to cut out the images.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment on some red cardstock and added it to my light blue background from earlier. I adhered the entire panel to a 5" x 7" white card base and added all of the colored die cuts with foam adhesive for dimension.

Finally, I embellished this card with some Pinkfresh Studio Butterscotch Glitter Drops. And voila, my card was complete!

Have a Great Day & Happy Crafting!
