Celebrating Spring with Honey Bee Stamps!

Celebrating Spring with Honey Bee Stamps!

Posted by Kavya N on

Hi folks,

Kavya here with another fun project using Honey Bee's Spring Wreath. Today’s color palette and style is inspired by Kalamkari prints. Kalamkari is a type of hand painted cotton fabric produced in my hometown back in India and I always loved the rich and vibrant colors and patterns.  This card is super easy to create and requires few simple steps. It's been a while since I created a card that doesn't involve a lot of die cutting so I challenged myself to create one!

I started off by stamping the main wreath from the Spring Wreath stamp set on some textured cream cardstock. I then stamped the smaller images around it. This creates a central focal point for the sentiment.

I then colored the images and added white gel pen details.

Finally, I matted the card base on top of some kraft cardstock and added a sentiment from Spellbinders' Yana's Layered Script Sentiments and I was done!

Hope this project inspires you!

Happy Crafting,

Kavya
