Hello everyone, Bridget with @Bridgetcaseydesigns here to share three spring cards created with Honey Bee Stamps Bud Vases Honey Cuts and Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery Honey Cuts.
To begin I die cut most of the pieces in the Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery die set as well as the base from the Bud Vase set in multiples.
This card in particular reminded me of my mom. She has flower hanging pots on the side of the deck. For this card I used my Copic markers to color the die-cut pieces. The cardstock I used was 80# Hammermill -- it works terrific with Copics! For my greens I used YG01, YG03 and YG25. The base was colored with E17, E29, and E39.
Once everything was colored, came the super fun part, creating the arrangement. I did trim some of the pieces to fill out the arrangement. To adhere my greenery I used some Lawn Fawn glue as well as thin 3D foam squares. For my sentiment I chose the Best of Everything stamp and die set from Honey Bee Stamps. As this reminded me of my mother I used the Window Slats 3D embossing folder by Altenew with Hammermill 80# cardstock.
This card was created in the same way the previous card was. I changed the embossing folder to the Brick Wall 3D embossing folder by Altenew. For my sentiment I used two foiled sentiments from Versatile Greetings by Altenew.
For my final card, I wanted to illustrate you do not need a lot to create a beautiful card. I used a panel with the Brick Wall 3D embossing folder by Altenew. I added the final Spring Greenery piece as well as another sentiment from the Best of Everything stamp and die set.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this inspires you to create a bright, springy project!
