Christmas Gift Box
1.Cut your box using sturdy/heavy weight card stock and put together. Tip: fold in one box in a little tighter than the other to ensure they fit together.
2.Cut the smaller rectangle die (not smallest) in coordinating heavy cardstock – this will act as your base for the belly band.
3.Cut out the layers for your poinsettia. I cut two each of my desired sizes.
4.Make one large poinsettia and two small/medium layers.
5.Crease the center of the flower die and fold up – like you’re folding a hot dog J
6.Layer the flowers – offset each other to create dimension – use hot glue to attach.
7.Cut the smallest flower (twice) in the Cinch and Go die to use as flower centers.
8.Cut a set of leaves and use the same technique as with the flowers
9.Cut the extra layers of the box (top and sides) and attach.
10.Cut a strip of coordinating cardstock to create the belly band. I cut mine at 1.5 x 11.
11.Wrap the band around your box and secure, leaving room for the band to slide on and off easily.
12.Start with adding foam 3D squares to the back of the previously cut rectangle (the base) and adhere to the center of the belly band – be careful not to attach to the box.
13.Cut a scalloped oval and place on top of the rectangle using foam 3D squares (vertically)
14.Add your largest poinsettia group to the center of the oval with 3D foam dots and hot glue
15.Add your leaves – tuck under the poinsettia at an angle about 1 o’clock and 7 o’clock.
16.Layer the smaller two layered poinsettias to either side – use foam dots and place about 10 o’clock and 4 o’clock.
17.Add the Cinch and Go tiny flowers to the smaller poinsettia layers.
18.Add the berry as a flower center to the largest poinsettia – from the poinsettia die.
19.Finish off the gift box with dots of Christmas Red stickles.
