Hello there! It's Andrea back with you today. I absolutely love coffee and had so much fun creating a card with Catherine Pooler Designs' Coffee Shop stamp and die sets.
I just love how this card turned out! I started by white heat-embossing the large sentiment from Coffee Shop onto black cardstock. I diecut it with the coordinating die and then swiped white pigment ink across the panel for a chalkboard look.
I stamped the coffee mug onto teal cardstock with Catherine Pooler's All That Jazz Ink. To stamp the coffee in the mug, I combined Brushed Corduroy and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxides to get the shade I wanted. After heat-setting the dye inks, I white heat-embossed the froth detail and then diecut the cup with the coordinating die.
To assemble the card, I diecut a wood paper from my stash with Hero Arts' Infinity Rounded Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a white card. I affixed the "chalkboard" sign with foam tape and attached the mug with two layers of foam. For a bit of elegance, I diecut vellum with Pinkfresh Studio's Curvy Leaves Dies (The vellum reminds me of steam; how about you?) and tucked the leaves under the mug. Finally, I adhered some Pinkfresh Studio Metallic Pearls: Matte Gold to my card.
Have a wonderful day!
