Colorful Cards with Trailing Grace from Pinkfresh Studio

Hi crafty friends!

Raquel here from @paintsandglitter bringing you an easy card tutorial featuring Trailing Grace from Pinkfresh Studio. This is a die and matching stencil set that are easy to use, and are perfect for a beginner crafter, or anyone who likes easy batch card-making. Today I will share how to easily create eight cards by pairing this with the Room for Joy collection by the same brand.

To begin, cut eight papers to the same size as the stencils. This will make your assembly-line coloring super easy. To make this even easier, I suggest using a media mat, or magnets as I have highlighted in the video tutorial linked below.

Using a trio of shimmer inks from Lisa Horton along with tiny daubers, begin by applying the color combination of choice onto the stencils. Note that you do not have to switch out the stencils each time you change your color options. Change the dauber sponge instead, and continue to color the images. The three stencils are numbered, so you can proceed from the first, to the third, by simply noting the placement of the three little triangle shapes on each stencil. The matching die will also have these markers, and lining these up will also give you a perfect cut of your floral elements.

To make this card bundle, use 4.25”x 8.5” white card bases, scored in half, and use a matting layer cut from the Dotted Fancy Frames as a coloring guide to add Saphire ink to the fronts of each card with a large brush. Once this is complete, use the same size die to create frames that you can adhere along with all of your floral elements, and top each card with a sentiment to complete your set.

For tips on making your card sentiments stand out use clear embossing powder and dimensional adhesive as noted in my video tutorial. You will see how you can easily achieve the same vibrant and stunning results by following my tips. I hope this has helped you get started with your supplies!
