Cozy Coats for Christmas! ft. Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Coats

Cozy Coats for Christmas! ft. Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Coats

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hello there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards. For today’s project, I’m using the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Coats die set to create two different coat designs, each with a slightly different purpose.

The first version is a simple, classic coat that works perfectly as a gift tag. It comes together quickly, has minimal details, but still has lots of charm thanks to the sweet collar, buttons, and belt. This is a great option if you’re making multiple tags and want something fast but still special.

The second version is a bit more involved and can be used as either a gift tag or a Christmas ornament. This coat is all about the details with added shading using ink blending and copic markers, highlights from white gel pen, and of course, some added shimmer!

On both coats, the front opens to reveal a hidden message inside. I love interactive details like this—they turn a small project into something really memorable. You could tuck a name, short note, or even a date inside for a keepsake ornament that can be enjoyed year after year.

To see the process of creating these cozy coats, be sure to watch my video over on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube Channel.

Happy crafting!
